Alessandra Saggin is a Lecturer in the Italian Department at Columbia, where she has been working since 2010. She has an Laurea and a Master’s in Classics from the University of Pisa, Italy. She teaches all levels of language courses, from Elementary to Advanced. For the advanced level she is creating a content–based course about Italian art. Her research interests are second language acquisition, Italian cinema, Italian art, the use of technology in learning and teaching, teaching and learning pragmatics.
