Lara Santoro holds a Laurea in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Turin, Italy and received her PhD in Italian Literature from Rutgers University.
Lara Santoro has taught a wide variety of classes, both face-to-face and on-line, for over twenty years at the university level, at Rutgers University, UMass Amherst, Suny New Paltz, Ramapo College, Drew University, Pace University and CUNY.
Her interests cover second language acquisition and eighteenth century to contemporary Italian Literature, with a focus on film studies and Mafia studies.
